IfCM Collective

The IfCM Collective is a versatile group of performers/educators and serves as showcase ensemble for the Institute for Creative Music. Original songs and arrangements on the cutting edge--combining strong grooves and composition with avant garde improvisation.

The Collective is available for both concert appearances and in conjunction with workshop sessions. To book the collective please contact us at info@ifcmusic.org.

Annual Events

International Jazz Day

April 30th, 2015

Organized by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), celebrates April 30th as International Jazz Day every year in order to highlight jazz and its diplomatic role of uniting people in all corners of the globe. The IfCM organized Rochester, New York's first Jazz Day event in 2013 with "Spontaneous Duos" bringing together 15 performers for a unique performance.
