Stay-cation for Creativity...

There is SO much internet I could be doing at all times that it makes me want to smash all of my electronics and be less "connected". But...I know that all that plastic and glass will make hundreds of tiny, tiny bits and I'll step on them and be sad/mad/angry. I don't actually feel great when I do a lot of internet anyways so I'm going to implement a strategy recommended by the great author and artist Austin Kleon and spend more of my life on airplane mode. Try this 5-step process once a day (I mean, I'll try it--you can too):

1) Turn your phone on airplane mode or turn it off.
2) Turn off your computer wifi.
3) Do a creation (improvise and practice a short melody, draw a picture, build a pile of rocks).
4) Continue until you forget that the phone and the internet ever existed. Don't worry about documenting or sharing your creation.
5) Profit.
