Tomorrow Music Orchestra - Denton House Concert #2

Come together with your community to hear and create new sounds! Please join the Institute for Creative Music for a house concert of experimental new music featuring instrumentalists, vocalists, and audience participants of all ages and abilities. We collectively learn and play original compositions to create a new incarnation of the “Tomorrow Music Orchestra”; combining elements of jazz, classical, experimental music, poetry, and more… The pieces include performance roles for the audience regardless of musical ability and experience (but you can also just listen and observe). Children are encouraged to attend, make instruments, and play in the pieces. Childcare and activities will be available in a separate room during the first set. This concert also features the debut of the Denton Jazz Workshop’s Jazz Blues Ensemble, an all-ages community combo, as well as performance by the IfCM Collective (the showcase ensemble for the IfCM).

Please RSVP for yourself and all friends/family members you'll be bringing (including kids) so we have an accurate count for refreshments and activities. Space is limited but please share this with folks you think would enjoy it. We look forward to seeing you there!
